Newton the sorcerer!

It's been less than two weeks, but it feels like we have had Newton forever. He is adjusting nicely to our quirky family. He knows that nap time is all the time, and he has mastered climbing the stairs. He already has learned sit, and we gave him his first bath yesterday. The other babies really seem to like him and he brings the best out of everybody. I've never seen Persie this happy, I mean, she is actually acting like a dog! Newton is a tough little bugger, anyone would have to be to hang with this rough and tumble, accident prone family. I had the vet check his soft spot on his head and she said it was actually smaller than normal. This is very good because I have already( accidentally of course) elbowed him in the head and he has run into the coffee table more than once. He's a perfect fit and was worth the wait and things couldn't be going better.

I went to pick Newton up by myself from Madras. It was a long drive there, but the time flew by on the way back when I had that little sausage in my lap. We picked Tim up from work and got Persie and had dinner in the park.

Here are some pictures from the day we got him.

Puppy-proofing the house = staple gunning cardboard to the bottom of the couch
His squirrely mom. She was a good mom.

Crazy, but a good mom all the same.

Sometimes his eyes look two different ways.  Okay, most of the time they do.

Who would let such a crazy lady have a puppy?

In his car seat. But not for long.

Okay model shots!

He better get used to a camera in his face!

He was very hot.

Love him!

Sausage!

They didn't play much that first day, but now you can't stop them!

Adorable.

My girl Persie.

Oh yeah, he is also a bat.

Careful pup, you gonna get your butt sniffed!

Loves a shag carpet.

Before he could use the stairs.

Nap time.
